California Assistive Technology Coalition
Welcome to the California Assistive Technology Coalition
The Coalition is a collaborative effort of the Independent Living Partnership (ILP), California State University, Fullerton, and the California Department of Aging. The Coalition was convened to advance the development, testing and use of assistive technology in California so those who are aging and/or disabled can live independently in their homes and age in place to the extent possible.
The Coalition is composed of representatives from government, community-based organizations, nonprofit associations, health care providers and private-sector companies. Click here for the list of Coalition members. The Coalition meets twice each year in Sacramento with a videocast to a location in Southern California. Coalition members share information between meetings through the CAT Coalition Listserve and an email list.
The Coalition is producing four reports for public release.
